This is a miniature narrating many periods. During Byzantian times, in the psychiatric hospitals, priests cultivated legumes. This is shown in the groundwork of the miniature. During Ottoman times, it was used as Reşadiye military barrack and I tried to symbolise deers and peacocks from the Mazhar Osman's times (about 1950s) in the miniature. At the upper left, wards for women, men and ancient prisoners were shown. At the right side, there is a building used as a shelter for street children. In the lower middle part, is the Rodin's sculpture. Miniatures are different from paintings in showing several periods on the same page. Because of that, I painted several time periods together.
